Keys to understanding the Final Manual correctly.

Understanding the Quran merely through our intellect and knowledge is not sufficient. The Quran should also be understood through the pure heart, the center of boundless knowledge. The mind has its limits, but a pure heart has none. The Quran, as the Word of Allah, carries multiple meanings. Therefore, the heart must also be involved in understanding it, and it should be read with a calm heart, without prejudice.

The Quran tells us what we need to do, while the teachings of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) show us how to do it. Therefore, we learn how to apply the Quran in our daily lives from the Messenger of Allah. Allah says:

"Say [to them, O Messenger]: 'If you sincerely love Allah, then follow me; for then Allah will love you and forgive your sins. Allah is All-Forgiving, Especially Merciful.'" The Family of Imran, 3:31

A key aspect of understanding the Quran is interpreting it based on the guidance given by Allah and His Messenger rather than through our own concepts. We need a criterion to determine whether we have understood the Quran correctly and who interprets it accurately. That criterion is the teachings of Allah's Messenger. Therefore, the Quran can be understood correctly only with the teachings of the Messenger of Allah.

You can pick it up, leave it by your side, and read it as you wish. No special prayer is read: just you and the book, and preferably a peaceful place. That said, general etiquette is recommended to be observed. If this copy has the original Arabic text of the Quran, Muslims must be in a state of purity when reading the Arabic text.
